As a UX Research Intern at Xometry, you'll work on real-world projects to uncover user insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and learn how to apply research methods that drive user-centered design in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to understand customer behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Design and execute studies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
- Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable insights to inform product and design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure user needs are at the center of development.
- Learn and apply best practices in research methodologies, tools, and data analysis to support user-centered design.

What We're Looking For:
- Academic Excellence: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2025 or May 2026, with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 9 - August 15, 2025).
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results.
- Legal Authorization: Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States.
- Location Requirement: Ability to commute to our North Bethesda, MD or Lexington, KY office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week.
