Summary
All Native Group is seeking a Technical Writer at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah.

Essential Functions

Supports Quality Assurance or Configuration Management activities throughout the lifecycle of TO projects.
Provides sustainment support of Hill Air Force Base technical data. Hill AFB is responsible for the acquisition, sustainment, and publication of technical data (technical order documents and engineering data) to support management of supported weapon systems. Currently, Hill AFB manages basic technical orders (TOs) of various sizes consisting of text and technical images.
Maintains consistency within Technical Orders through a thorough Quality Assurance process and ensures Technical Orders maintain compliance with applicable Military Specifications
Updates applicable data systems, required logs, and/or records in an accurate and timely
Attends and participates in meetings held by supervisors
May be requested and required to participate in Proposal Support functions due to expertise

Competencies

Direct experience working with USAF Technical Orders
Proficient with MS Outlook; MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Acrobat Professional, etc.
Experience in preparation of aircraft/ commodity technica1 manuals and a thorough working knowledge of related USAF TO specifications required

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.
