Robert Half is hiring: Director of Publishing in Greenfield

Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for a contract-to-permanent Director of Publishing in the Greenfield, MA area. This is an onsite, 40-hour-per-week opportunity; candidates must be willing to work onsite 5 days per week. The Director will oversee the client's annual publishing pipeline and release goal schedule. They will also manage author and content acquisition, budgets, editorial teams, marketing alignment, and communications. This position will involve some travel for conferences and meetings. • Degree in management, communications, or related
• 5+ years of publishing industry experience
• Ability to operate on a tactical and strategic level across publishing teams
• Excellent project management skills
• Demonstrated history of managing a publication department
• Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style
• Excellent proofreading skills
• Experience with book development and content acquisition process
• CRM tool knowledge a plus (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing a variety of stakeholders
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products a plus
• Detail-oriented
• Self-starter
