The Firmwide Chief Data Office is responsible for maximizing the value and impact of data globally, in a highly governed way. It consists of several teams focused on accelerating JPMorgan Chase's data, analytics, and AI journey, including data strategy, data impact optimization, privacy, data governance, transformation, and talent. We are looking for a team member to help support the strategy for how we make data available to power everything from new product development to Artificial Intelligence models. This team member will join the team responsible for supporting the firmwide data publishing strategy and driving the adoption of the strategy across the firm.
As a Vice President - Project Manager Data Publishing, you will have the opportunity to heavily interact with our firmwide teams, lines of business, and corporate functions. This high-profile position will allow you to play an instrumental role in assisting senior management and executing our strategies. We value detail-oriented focus accompanying excellent written and oral communication skills. We are looking for someone with an understanding of data and analytics, or a related technical field.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the CDAO Data Publishing goals and objectives in the day to day implementation of policies and standards across the firm.
- Influence stakeholders to resolve identified compliance issues in accordance with Firmwide Policy and Standards.
- Assist in identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks that could impair our ability to execute on our strategy.
- Create materials for presentation to senior management, key stakeholders, or other data pillars.
- Drive innovation in data governance processes by creating value through tooling and automation, or other opportunities to improve processes.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects while ensuring timely delivery of high-impact initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (Technology, Compliance, Legal, etc.) on tasks related to Data Publishing.
- Stay informed on regulatory developments impacting data governance.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in the financial services, data/technology or related industry.
- Strong project management, data quality, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders to support the goals of the business.
- Proven ability to execute via successful internal partnerships - with the ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions.
- Effective communicator with excellent written communication skills.
- Experience navigating and mobilizing resources across a large organization.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
- Good risk awareness & control minded.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage changes in planning.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of a broad set of JPMC products and processes is a plus.
- Desire to drive results and utilization of projects in order to improve the JPM data environment.
- Demonstrated interest in emerging technology and "Big Data" in the financial services industry.
- A strong understanding of the state of the art in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence is important.

New York, NY $123,500.00 - $210,000.00 / year; Jersey City, NJ $142,500.00 - $210,000.00 / year.
