What You’ll Do:

ATTN: is seeking a visionary Head of Social Publishing & Content Operations to redefine how we connect, create, and captivate across our social platforms. To succeed in this role, you must live on the internet, and be willing to roll up your sleeves in order to architect and own our publishing strategy - orchestrating the planning, execution, and optimization of content that sparks conversations and drives cultural relevance. You’ll be the driving force behind scaling our audience and elevating engagement, while producing best-in-class content that resonates deeply and authentically. With an intuitive grasp of internet culture and a relentless passion for innovation, you’ll set new standards, push boundaries, and inspire trust through emotionally impactful storytelling.

The day to day:

Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and evolve a comprehensive social media strategy that enhances brand visibility and engagement across multiple platforms.
  • Stay on the pulse of emerging social media trends, cultural moments, and new platforms to inform forward-thinking strategies.
  • Oversee editorial planning and execution, ensuring timely, high-quality content delivery that aligns with brand goals.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, emphasizing professional growth and accountability.
  • Build efficient workflows to ensure agility and excellence in content operations.

Content Creation and Ideation:

  • Develop and execute compelling, social-first content ideas that resonate with target audiences.
  • Ensure a consistent brand voice and strong visual identity across all platforms.
  • Partner with creative and production teams to deliver high-quality, trend-forward content.

Analytics and Insights:

  • Analyze and report on social media performance, using data to glean actionable insights and optimize strategies.
  • Collaborate with the insights team to conduct social listening and trend analysis, translating findings into impactful content opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 8+ years of proven success in executing social media campaigns and managing social platforms, with specific expertise in Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Meta, and Snap.
  • Leadership: 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams, with a knack for communicating, influencing, and inspiring others.
  • Creativity: Exceptional editorial sensibility, creative and production expertise, a strong visual eye, and outstanding copywriting skills.
  • Adaptability: A talented tastemaker with creative and production chops, strong visual eye and copy skills, who can pivot in new directions based on evolving needs and the current cultural context.
  • Analytical Skills: Broad understanding of social media metrics with ability to report on social media performance and glean trends and insights.
  • Collaboration: A natural connector who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Compensation:

This position has an estimated annual salary range of $150,000-$180,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation in all of our initial calls.

Candidates must be based in Los Angeles or New York. This will be a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days in office in LA and 1 day in the office in New York.
