At iHeartMedia we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace and are looking for teammates passionate about what we do!What We Need:We’re seeking a skilled Producer to manage all aspects of our show production from beginning to end.What Youll Do:Undertake key administrative responsibilities as well as assist in planning and producing live and/or pre-recorded radio shows which may include news, music, talk, sports, traffic, and feature productionsGenerate original ideas, identify suitable ideas from others, and carry out thorough researchResearch information, obtain materials and assist with contacting and scheduling guestsGive direction to presenters, content providers, assistants and other crew membersManage budgets and ensures the efficient use of resourcesObtain permissions or licenses for recording or broadcasting on location, and for the use of music, sound effects and audio archive materialMonitor listener emails, inquiries and responses related to showsWork in collaboration with presenters, performers or other program contributors, in order to perform quality assurance to meet established production standards, rules and regulationsUse various broadcasting technologies such as soundboards and editing/production softwareSchedule and monitor the radio stream during live recordingsAssist with time-keeping, saving show recordings, archiving show files and post-production editing as directedMay work the board for pre-recorded or live showsWhat Youll Need:Excellent writing and storytelling skills; ability to tailor and adapt content for different audiences and platformsKnowledgeable of the radio market, different station/program styles, audience demographicsKnows how to use a variety of recording equipment and to operate different radio studiosExcellent communication skills, complemented by diplomacy, empathy and patienceAbility to build rapport and draw information from peopleCan coach and develop othersHas confidence and tenacity to pursue information, overcome obstacles and pitch ideas to senior colleaguesAbility to work calmly and effectively under pressure, and to react quickly to changesAbility to plan and organize, set priorities, multi task and meet tight deadlinesFull knowledge of the law, rules and industry regulations around radio production; knows when it is necessary, and how to acquire, relevant clearances and licensesProficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking platformWhat Youll Bring:Skilled in Adobe AuditionSkilled in digital audio platformsWilling to work flexible hoursRespect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in returnAbility to work within prescribed guidelines without needing close supervisionProblem solving skills within established proceduresUnderstanding of when to seek guidance for unforeseen problemsClose attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to act in a professional manner and collaborate with colleagues of different levels
Compensation:
Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
