Job Description
Bringing high-quality insight, knowledge, and resources to the commercial real estate industry (CRE) is the mission of Developer.com, and we are looking for a Digital Content Coordinator and Creator to join our team. Through our website, social media, and newsletter, it is our goal to build a long-term connection with our audience by providing value that helps them expand their business while potentially building additional connections within the industry.
As a publisher of digital content in the commercial real estate industry, we are seeking an organized detail-oriented candidate to join our team to assist with the management of content published across several platforms including the website, newsletter, and social media accounts. For the most part, the content will have already been created by contributors in the form of articles, posts, and graphics, however, we would be excited and impressed to see a candidate who also has some graphics experience (preferably beyond Canva) to assist with some graphics generation. It should be noted for graphic designers reading this though that this is not strictly a graphics position.

What you'll do- Managing content workflows across assignments such as articles, graphics, social media, and newsletters to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery
- Organizing, reviewing, formatting, and publishing content on multiple platforms (web, social media, newsletters) while adhering to established protocols and brand guidelines.
- Efficiently prioritizing tasks within a dynamic and evolving schedule, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Maintaining clear and proactive communication with team members during all stages of the content creation and publishing process
- Adapting to new processes and applications as systems, tools, and protocols evolve, demonstrating a willingness to learn and improve.
- Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, contributing to productive interactions and workflows.
- Providing additional support as needed, performing tasks assigned by the Managing Editor to address team needs and objectives.
- Creating high-quality, engaging graphics (including photos and infographics) to enhance written content and drive engagement across web, social media, and newsletters.
- Ensuring strict adherence to production timelines and visual guidelines, maintaining brand consistency and quality standards.
- Experience with formatting content for web publishing and implementing SEO practices.
- Experience with WordPress and SocialPilot, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of the English language, including grammar, composition, punctuation, and formal writing rules, especially for SEO and web publishing.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) to create visuals that align with content strategies.
- Ability to translate abstract concepts into visuals with minimal direction, while maintaining a keen attention to detail and working efficiently within a structured workflow, minimizing the need for revisions.
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative to understand assignments, complete tasks efficiently, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Proactive mindset, with a strong desire to contribute, accomplish goals, and maintain a productive attitude.
- Comfortable in a dynamic work environment, open to learning and adapting to new systems, software, methodologies, and processes.
- Commitment to excellence, consistently striving to meet high standards and embracing the effort required to achieve them.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus.

Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
