\nOur client seeks a talented UX/UI Designer to lead the development of their TV Channels app. You’ll shape the user experience for this diverse and free streaming service, featuring news, sports, entertainment, and more from trusted providers. From the beginning, you will play an integral role in defining problems, building customer journeys, prototyping, and designing delightful and highly usable digital experiences within the TV Channels app. You will invent and deliver throughout the product development lifecycle and build customer-focused solutions at scale. We are looking for a candidate who loves collaborating with others, knows how to uncover needs and can translate them into solutions, is a storyteller as much as they are a designer, and has experience leading projects forward in the face of ambiguity.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Refine the UI architecture, interface, and interaction flows for the TV Channels app. \n
- Own the end-to-end process, from problem definition to delivery. \n
- Use business requirements, user and market research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements to shape product strategy. \n
- Work with partners to identify key jobs to be done and business goals. \n
- Explore and communicate your ideas for new experiences using wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes. \n
- Develop conceptual models that work across a system of devices. \n
- Design highly usable digital experiences by rapidly prototyping, testing, and iterating on designs with internal partners. \n
- Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns. \n
- Work with project managers to plan projects for effective delivery while maintaining high standards for design. \n
- Be a passionate and effective advocate for design with non-design audiences. \n
- Write effectively to communicate design rationales and benefits to our client’s customers. \n
- Guide a cross-functional team and elevate the culture of UX thinking and design excellence. \n
A Day in the Life
\nIn this highly visible role, you will use business requirements as well as user and market research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases, and high-level requirements that will improve the TV Channels app experience. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with a team of world-class multi-disciplinary designers, researchers, engineers, product managers, and executives. You will use a variety of methods, including wireframes, prototypes, motion studies, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design thinking to senior leadership, engineering, and product partners throughout product development.
\nAbout the team
\nYou will join a team of designers working across devices to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Customer obsession is at the core of all of our design decisions. We dive deep with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure we are delivering the right things for our customers. We work cross-functionally to craft scalable, cohesive, and usable solutions. The team makes strategic decisions that allow partners to take action, move quickly, take ownership, and deliver results. We earn the trust of others within DDG to foster an environment of inclusion and openness, allowing everyone to do their best every day.

Preferred Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Experience working with product managers and engineers to understand technical requirements and the ability to translate these into user experience requirements. \n
