Salary: $70,000-$90,000

Summary: IHL Group is looking for a passionate Technical Designer to join our Sleepwear division! This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a leading company within the fashion industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Design team to execute design intent/tech packs, to achieve costing price point from design inception through production.
  • Work well cross-functionally amongst intimates technical design team; ensuring that all decisions made are shared as a collective effort with Design team.
  • Create and update specification tech packs, including detailed technical sketches, graded measurements, and construction details.
  • Works closely with design and production to resolve delivery and material issues affecting production as needed.
  • Adhere to time and action calendars.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of technical design experience, with an understanding of safety and testing requirements.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.
  • Experience in Sleepwear is a plus!
  • Fluent in Chinese language.
  • Proficiency in ADOBE Creative Suite such Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.

Job Logistics

Location: New York, NY Midtown West

Schedule: We are operating in-office Monday-Friday.

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000
