About The Role
As the Coordinator, Social Media you must have a passion for social media and the emerging digital landscape with proven experience managing Social for commerce and/or digital media brands. You thrive in a fast paced, ever-evolving, entrepreneurial environment, and feel at your best when project managing, communicating, and collaborating with cross functional teams. You'll play a pivotal role in building and engaging our online community.
Responsibilities include:
- Schedule content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok
- Monitor social media channels frequently and respond to comments and messages, and actively engage with followers to foster relationships and build community.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to inform strategy and improve campaigns
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand remains innovative and relevant
- Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns
- Partner with cross functional teams to support brand initiatives and product launches.
Qualifications & Experience
- 1-2+ years of relevant social media experience
- Passion, vision and value of social media for driving Content, Community & Commerce.
- Thorough technical understanding of the primary social platforms in the space (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest)
- Capacity to handle a variety of competing tasks and assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, project management, and superior writing and grammar skills.
- Flexible, responsive, level-headed and quick thinking.
- Proactive, assertive, collaborative and resourceful with strong attention to detail.
- Organized, positive, respectful and supportive.
- Openness to working some nights and weekends, as social media is always on.
FAQ
- Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 + Equity. This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Please note that this range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for the Los Angeles, CA based position. Goop, in good faith, reasonably expects to pay the position within this salary range. Goop provides the salary range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
