Description

TRISTAR is seeking a Analyst, Operations III (Technical Writer) for our government customer in Crane, IN
  • Shall review, compile, and amend technical data to support design reviews, procedure updates/development, engineering reviews, and Engineering Change Proposals
  • Some data may need to be Validated and Verified, and will need to be done on a Depot test set or dedicated test system
  • Data will need to be compiled and input into applicable systems such as iPDM.contractor shall provide engineering and technical expertise, as defined per TI, during engineering investigations, engineering change proposals, depot testing, resolution of Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs), rapid action minor engineering changes, and provide comments and redlined drawings for Installation Control Drawings (ICDs) by gathering data and performing tests and evaluations
  • Provide support to the Government Technical Leads to develop, review, and update technical documentation including engineering baselines, Technical Manuals TMs), operational manuals, Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), waivers, deviations, Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, Navy Training plans, engineering drawings/schematics, and Computer Aided Design (CAD) files via iPDM
  • Review, update, and provide recommendations for EW System test plans and procedures from program requirements and information located in iPDM
  • Submit an evaluation report on the adequacy of such plans and provide rationale and assumptions made, provide recommendations and analysis on test plans, facility capabilities, test objectives, and verify test objectives are met

  • Other Program Document reviews and updates
  • Serve as Document Custodian for Controlled Copies
  • Perform analysis of environmental and safety hazards, failure causes and effects, and root cause analysis of in-service problems (including operational hazards, engineering investigation, deficiency reports, parts obsolescence, corrosion effects, and reliability degradation)


Requirements

  • 5-10 Years
  • Must have V6 Technical Expertise - Operations, Maintenance & Troubleshooting; Data Collection & Analysis; Technical Writing
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one


Education and Certification:
  • High School Diploma
