The job of the Data and Technology Consulting group is one of empowerment, enabling our clients to improve their business by better understanding and activating their target audiences to drive growth. Specifically, we guide Clients through the adoption of advances in the complex marketing/ad tech ecosystem, in the context of an ever-evolving privacy landscape. As clients increasingly recognize this need, OMD wants to act a trusted advisor and is building a team of consultants to support Clients in their digital transformation journey. The Director, Data and Technology Consulting, supports the delivery of consultative and strategic guidance to OMD account teams and clients on how to best leverage technologies and data to outpace their competition, in a privacy compliant way.
The Director, Data and Technology Consulting will work to deliver high-quality consultative guidance in marketing/ad technology, rooted in driving business value for clients. In collaboration with the media teams (planning, digital, marketing sciences) and in collaboration with data and technology partners, you will have responsibility to deliver projects related to advertising and marketing technologies (identity, data infrastructure, 1p data, etc). Success in this role requires a demonstrated ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders within the agency (media teams, operations teams, technology teams), a passion for solving Client business challenges and the ability to effectively manage projects to drive them to completion on time with the right level of quality.
Qualifications Developing and managing relationships with Clients to address their needs in the data, adtech and martech space Identifying Client's business issues and forming hypotheses and solutions on how marketing/ad technology and data strategies can influence Client goals Providing consultative services to Clients on a broad set of advertising and marketing technologies Delivering innovative solutions to clients' business problems and driving adoption of new approaches with support from the centers of excellence Planning and estimating delivery work, focusing on resource planning, scope, and dependencies Developing and managing project plans, ensuring proper and timely completion of all critical tasks and delivery against client and agency needs. Responsibilities
7-10 years of strategy and tactical technology experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting Experience defining strategic requirements and technical recommendations Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Industry Knowledge of AdTech marketing and/or advertising technology and measurement with data such as DSPs, MMPs, Social Platforms, CDPs, 1PD strategies and site analytic Experience with cleanrooms for data on-boarding, enrichment, and measurement Ability to navigate ambiguity and ask clarifying questions to get alignments on needs Expertise in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising A passion for new technologies in the advertising space and a real curiosity for innovation Solution development: analytic skills, critical thinking and clarifying strategic & operational issues as relates to marketing/ad technology and data. Problem-solving skills to drive issues to resolution. Stellar communication and presentation skills: we need someone who is articulate, engaging and straightforward - and, above all, can effectively and convincingly translate unstructured business solutions into innovative customer marketing programs

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$150,000-$160,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
