We're looking for an experienced and visionary Strategy Director to lead the development and execution of innovative advertising and marketing for our diverse range of clients at different stages of growth. You will have a strong point of view on how to create relevance at all stages of the customer journey to deliver business results. You've inspired by and immersed in brand positioning, consumer insights, and cultural trends - and take a inventive appoach to creative provocations and channel opportunities alike.

What you will do:
  • Drawing from insight, culture, and deep wells of creativity, you will develop briefs that lead to world-class, award-winning campaigns that align with our clients' business goals and brand vision.
  • You will work closely with creative and account teams to ensure seamless, confident execution across all channels.
  • You enjoy building and maintaining strong client relationships and always ensure clear communication and alignment on objectives, approaches, and deliverables.
  • You are comfortable presenting strategic plans, campaign results, and performance insights to clients and highlighting key takeaways and actionable recommendations.
  • You will serve as part of our agency leadership team, generate excitement and enthusiasm for in-market client work, and help foster a collaborative environment that encourages sharing ideas and best practices across disciplines. You'll also mentor other strategists on the team and provide direction and support on marketing and advertising projects.
  • You will work with our digital marketing partner agency to measure the success of marketing campaigns and strategies and analyze campaign data and consumer behavior insights to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • You will support new business efforts by participating in pitch processes and creating compelling proposals and presentations. You will also help identify new opportunities for expanding client relationships and service offerings.
  • You like to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts to refine and innovate marketing strategies relevant to our clients continuously.

Who you are:
  • You have 7-10 years of experience in advertising and/or go-to-market strategy, preferably within a creative or media agency setting.
  • You have a portfolio of noteworthy, proven campaigns.
  • You've partnered closely with media and creative teams and feel comfortable providing feedback to a range of disciplines to ensure that creative concepts and work at every stage of the process meet the brief's requirements.
  • You're a strategic and analytical thinker who can develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies.
  • You have a creative business mind, constantly mining brands, trends, and culture to inspire brand-led marketing and advertising work.
  • You are a poised and sophisticated communicator with sharp presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences, whether it's a CMO, founder, or internal team member.
  • You have proven experience managing and growing client relationships and a track record of delivering successful marketing outcomes for creative work. You're a natural leader with management experience who can inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, support junior team members, and advocate for best-in-class creative work.
  • You are highly knowledgeable of different digital marketing tools and platforms and have a strong understanding of the digital landscape. You are also familiar with the media landscape and have experience in campaign creation and media execution. It's preferred that you have an established roster of media contacts.
  • You are a creative problem solver with a passion for innovation in marketing and branding. You know how to use various tools and mediums to maximize client success at every business stage.
