ABOUT THE ROLE
Dow Jones is looking for a digital-first, audience-centric B2B Brand Design Lead. Supporting the B2B and wealth/investing sides of our business, this hands-on role reports to the VP, Brand Creative Director and manages a team of design professionals.
As B2B Brand Design Lead, you will act as a leader-doer, maximize the talents of your team, and oversee design projects, ensuring brand consistency and high-caliber work.

Pay Range: $135,000 - $165,000

YOU WILL
- Oversee all brand and visual design projects for B2B as well as for wealth and investing products, from conception to delivery
- Manage a team of designers and provide guidance to other creative resources, driving the delivery of projects within tight deadlines
- Review and guide the creative team's work to ensure design excellence with high quality standards as well as adherence to project and business objectives
- Develop brand architecture and conceptualize campaigns
- Design and oversee original work including visual identity, illustration, and data visualization
- Ensure brand consistency throughout all design projects
- Work with multiple stakeholders to translate business objectives into creative briefs
- Understand and define project architecture from big vision to execution, then develop project roadmaps to build coalition and guide progress
- Inspire the team with knowledge of design trends and deep interest in the creative landscape
YOU HAVE
- the willingness to work onsite in our midtown Manhattan office 3 days every week
- 10+ years of brand design experience to include at least 5 years in B2B digital design AND at least 4 years in a leadership position managing a team(s) of designers
- a portfolio demonstrating proven design ability as well as a refined sensibility for UI, color and typography
- deep experience in building and evolving visual identity systems
- keen creative sensibility and dedication to design and typographic excellence
- experience leading creative teams on complex projects from concept through execution
- expertise with Adobe Creative Suite
- intermediate skill level in Figma
- strong content awareness
- experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- experience presenting to and influencing stakeholders
- strong project management and organization skills
- a BA or MA degree in Design, Visual Communication, or a relevant field (preferred, but not required)
- fluency with the media landscape (preferred, but not required)
