Job Summary The Director Global Partnerships Marketing will work cross-functionally with teams throughout AEG's Global Partnerships division to drive the creation and execution of high-impact marketing programs that generate revenue across AEG Presents' extensive portfolio, including music festivals, music venues/clubs, national tours, digital media and branded content divisions. This position will lead the creation of all strategic pitch and recap presentations in response to RFPs as well as go-to-market materials while continuing to elevate and innovate with a pulse on trends and competitive platforms. Job Summary The Director Global Partnerships Marketing will work cross-functionally with teams throughout AEG's Global Partnerships division to drive the creation and execution of high-impact marketing programs that generate revenue across AEG Presents' extensive portfolio, including music festivals, music venues/clubs, national tours, digital media and branded content divisions. Essential Functions
- Set strategic vision and focus on attention to creative thinking and details as it relates to the development and creation of all partnership/sales marketing materials from the ideation phase onward. This includes providing guidance to team members on new ideas and creative development/approval of concepts while ensuring all materials are finished in a timely manner.
- Take initiative to ensure marketing presentations are strategic, creative and inclusive of insights so that AEG Presents is at the forefront of the industry.
- Lead internal meetings with marketing team and key sellers to brainstorm unique ideas applicable to their properties to increase revenue per property.
- Lead and present latest competitive analysis and category trends to suggest new brands and opportunities to sales team.
- Be a key member with creating new revenue generating initiatives, to expand across all or select festival & venues.
- Oversees the relationship between GP Presents marketing and all other AEG creative departments to ensure efficient sharing of creative assets.
- Oversee teams responsible for tracking and analyzing key category availabilities and sponsorship assets across AEG properties in order to identify opportunities for sales partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred) Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Creative Arts or Design
- 6-8 years' experience in marketing or creative strategy, ideally within the live entertainment, events, or media industry (e.g., music, sports, festivals, venues).
- Leadership experience managing creative teams or departments.
- Sales or partnership development experience, particularly related to marketing assets and sponsorships.
- Proven track record of ideation and creative development, from concept to finished product, including approval processes.
- Experience in competitive analysis and market trend analysis to inform strategy.
- Ability to create long-term marketing strategies that align with both creative and sales goals.
- Expertise in identifying industry trends and new opportunities that can drive revenue.
- Ability to conceptualize and develop creative campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Strong leadership skills to guide, inspire, and manage both creative and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Deep understanding of creative processes and experience overseeing the creation of marketing materials from concept to execution.
- Ability to balance creativity with business objectives (e.g., meeting deadlines, aligning with brand goals, ensuring materials are strategically sound).
- Ability to conduct and interpret competitive analysis and identify category trends.
- Experience using data and insights to drive creative decisions and support sales strategies.
- Comfort with tracking metrics, such as KPIs related to marketing effectiveness, audience engagement, and revenue generation.
- Understanding of how marketing materials can directly influence sales and partnerships.
- Ability to integrate revenue-generating strategies into creative marketing solutions for festivals, venues, and properties.
- Highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and projects at once
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., creative teams, sales, clients, and vendors).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and pivot with grace
- Proactive with the ability to work independently
- Must be fully capable and proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook, Adobe Suite (inclusive of Photoshop), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, & Excel, Canva and other creative platforms
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to inspire a high-performing team
- Regular attendance and hours in conformance with the standards, which may be established by AEG from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Due to the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company including working event nights and event weekends
- Previous roles involving cross-department collaboration (e.g., working with marketing, sales, and creative teams together).
