ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Brand Advocacy through social media: Identify opportunities to influence public perception by engaging with audiences and effectively communicating about the brand via a social media strategy.
- Content Creation and Curation: Develop and curate compelling content, including videos, articles, infographics, and photographs, that resonate with the target audience and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Visual Content Production: Capture high-quality visuals, including photos and videos, to be used across social media platforms, ensuring they are engaging and on-brand.
- Platform Management: Manage and optimize Butler Tire presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and GMB, tailoring content and strategy for each platform.
- Audience Engagement: Engage with followers through thoughtful and timely responses, fostering a positive community and driving meaningful interactions.
- Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media strategies that align with broader marketing goals and drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance metrics, analyze data to gain insights, and report findings to the marketing team. Use these insights to adjust strategies and optimize content.
- Actively monitor the latest social media trends, competitor activity, and marketing strategies, and utilizing insights to identify opportunities to optimize and amplify the online presence of Butler.
- Content Calendar Management: Maintain and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting across all social media platforms.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure Tire Discounters remains innovative and competitive in the digital landscape.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and their best practices for content creation and audience engagement.
- Familiarity with content creation tools and techniques, including graphic design, video editing, and copywriting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey the brand's message and interact with audiences and reply to content error-free.
- Proficiency in creating engaging content and capture high-quality visuals tailored for various social media platforms, with relevant tone and style, adhering to the style guidelines
- Ability to analyze social media performance, understand the data, and use it to improve strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative social media campaigns.
- Creativity to develop innovative and compelling social media campaigns and content; ability to contribute and maintain a content calendar

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, digital media, communications, or related field.
- Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in marketing, preferably with a focus on social media accounts and creating digital content.
- Experience with graphic design or video editing software is a plus
- Experience using photography and related equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Operates in both an office setting and within our retail operations.
- Ability to handle and operate various photo equipment, such as cameras, tripods, and lighting equipment, including setting up and adjusting equipment as needed.
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
- Walking, standing, sitting, listening, and talking on a wide variety and continual basis.
- Required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle and/or feel; lift/carry up to 25 pounds, and reach with hands and arms.
