Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Graphic Designer / Graphic Artist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both digital and print design, with the ability to manage projects from concept through to final delivery. You will be responsible for producing engaging and high-quality design assets that align with our mission and values. This position requires extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), as well as Elementor for WordPress-based website design, Figma for collaborative interface design, and Canva for quick, on-brand content creation.

Pay Rate:
In addition to benefits, the $65,000 to $70,000 for this role ranges between RANGE. We benchmark our salary ranges for new hires in relation to the role, level, and role location; however, we consider a multitude of factors, to include relevant experience, skills, and education/training, to determine compensation within the identified range.

This position requires extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), as well as Elementor for WordPress-based website design, Figma for collaborative interface design, and Canva for quick, on-brand content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce visually compelling marketing collateral, including but not limited to: brochures, flyers, annual reports, and digital content.
- Manage print materials, ensuring files are correctly formatted, proofed, and delivered to external vendors for production, including overseeing the printing process to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Create and maintain digital assets for the organization's website, ensuring a seamless user experience through the use of Elementor in WordPress.
- Collaborate with the web development team to implement designs that work within the constraints of the site's architecture.
- Utilize Figma to design and prototype user interfaces, ensuring consistency with the organization's brand identity across all platforms.
- Develop layouts and visual content for email campaigns, social media, event materials, and fundraising efforts.
- Use Canva for the creation of quick, templated assets for social media and internal communications, maintaining brand consistency.
- Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines, maintains a high level of visual appeal, and effectively communicates the organization's message.
- Work closely with the marketing team to strategize and develop creative concepts that engage key audiences.
- Maintain and organize design assets, ensuring all materials are backed up, properly cataloged, and easy to access for future use.
- Keep up to date with current design trends and technologies to continually improve design processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign (print layout expertise), Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Proven experience working with external print vendors, including preparing files for print and managing the production process.
- Strong working knowledge of WordPress and the Elementor page builder, with a portfolio of past website projects.
- Expertise in Figma for interface design and collaborative work.
- Experience with Canva for quick, on-brand content creation.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design for both print and digital mediums.
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Mailchimp or other online design tools for creating email campaigns.
- Experience in photography, videography, and video editing.
- Familiarity with AP style guidelines and experience working with copywriting or marketing teams.
- Experience working in a non-profit environment is a plus.
Work Environment:
Position is eligible to work from home occasionally in accordance with Federation policies. When working from home, employee must:
- Follow all Federation policies and procedures,
- Be available to other employees during Federation's normal business hours,
- Not work from a public place (e.g., coffee shop, library, etc.) and/or join a public, unsecure wi-fi network when working with sensitive or confidential information,
- Coordinate with IT department to maintain appropriate computer equipment and connectivity.
