Position Title Adjunct Faculty - Drama - Film Appreciation

Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - 29.5


Summary of Position


This job performs instructional work in specific areas of drama, i.e. film appreciation, theatre appreciation, stagecraft, or costume design. It includes both classroom teaching and occasional online teaching.


Minimum Required Education


Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Drama or Theatre. Outstanding experience/performance in the field(s) taught may count towards part of this requirement.


Minimum Required Experience


Some teaching experience at the post-secondary level, although, ISD teaching can count.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


1. Highly skilled in instructional area.


2. Ability to communicate well and to utilize delivery systems as needed.


3. Ability to organize information.


4. Ability to keep accurate and complete records.


5. Ability to perform in public and assist students to perform in public in drama area taught.
