The ideal candidate will serve in a full-time client facing role as a Graphic Designer for an Intelligence Community (IC) client providing a variety of visual content, including infographics, interactive PDFs, presentations, motion graphics, publications, brochures, and corporate identity collateral such as logos and seals. The candidate will also design exhibits, displays, posters, wall graphics, and signage systems, as well as assist in the development and production of communication materials like memoranda, emails, web postings, and video/audio presentations that incorporate graphic and visual elements. Responsibilities Conceptualize and execute day-to-day graphic design support across various teams by transforming information into engaging visuals, products, and graphics to fully communicate ideas and concepts appropriately to the specific audiences. Design and edit PowerPoint presentations, interactive PDFs, certificates, posters, cover designs, report layouts, publications, brochures, exhibits, displays, posters, wall graphics and other visual communications collateral. Develop graphic materials that align with client's branding and voice. Design corporate identity collateral including logos, seals, coin designs, and presentation templates. Design content for signage systems, including digital advertising boards, digital message ticker boards, and Lucite holders to display hardcopy content. Assist with the development and production of communication materials such as memoranda, letters, emails, web postings, visual schematics of ideas, briefing content, and video/audio presentations/recordings that may include graphic and visual elements. Execute projects from concept to final delivery, including all versioning, in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment under dynamic deadlines. Work collaboratively across teams. Ensure that digital products are in compliance with all U.S. government section 508 accessibility standards and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Attend client meetings to discuss expectations and desired outcomes. Present drafts to clients/team members for feedback. Qualifications Required: At least five (5) years' relevant work experience. Demonstrated experience synthesizing complex information and conveying data and content in a visually compelling manner. Experience with designing for multiple platforms including digital, print, social media, web, and presentations. Experience in developing content that meets U.S. government section 508 accessibility standards and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Demonstrated expert skill in developing professional PowerPoint presentations for senior leaders. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Outlook. Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.) Strong organizational skills (e.g. time management, communication, setting goals, delegation, working under pressure, self-motivation, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.) Strong presentation skills to present creative concepts, make recommendations about means of visual communication and imagery to senor leaders and program staff at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communications including the ability to communicate with clients, customers, and other designers to ensure that designs accurately and effectively convey information. Knowledge of print and digital delivery processes and demonstrated ability to prepare print- and digital-ready files for government requirements. Ability to present graphic support in a compelling way to create support across different audiences. Ability to gather, analyze, and incorporate feedback. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize numerous projects happening concurrently. Current, active government security clearance: Top Secret / Polygraph Preferred: Adobe Creative Suite (CC) Certification (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects.) Certification in other Graphic Design platforms. Bachelors or advanced degree in Graphic Design or related field. Experience creating graphics related to the DoD. #LI-SH1 Target salary range: $91,000 - $200,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications. The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
