JOB SUMMARY:
Federal Work-Study student assisting the area of Student Activities with Graphic Design/Marketing related projects and day-to-day customer service in the Office of Student Engagement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design promotional materials for events and activities throughout the year for the Office of Student Engagement. The person in this role will assist primarily with projects for the Student Activities Board (SAB) and support additional projects for SGA, Greek Life, New Student Orientation and other initiatives for the Office of Student Engagement as needed. Projects include: designing posters, social media graphics, t-shirts, logos, taking photos at events, and more.
Assist with day-to-day office duties such as, but not limited to, answering phone calls, assisting guests in the office, updating internal documents, assisting with event setups, assist with event ticket pick up, etc.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
THIS POSITION IS ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS AT SETON HALL UNIVERSITY.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, be task-oriented, and take initiative. The ideal candidate should also contain exceptional customer-service related skills, be able to follow detailed instructions, work well independently and with other team members.
Required knowledge and familiarity with: Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically, Illustrator and Photoshop.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior graphic design experience at a job or volunteer role using Adobe Creative Cloud software.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Some heavy lifting (tables, chairs, tents)
