Job Summary

Organizes, and instructs school students in visual arts at multiple school sites. Works with the school principals and teachers in the development of a comprehensive visual arts program. Effectively encourage the students' participation in the program. Promote close working relationships with parents and community. This position provides enrichment Visual Arts to students from TK through 5th grade.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position provides enrichment Visual Arts to students from TK through 5th grade.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education Required:
•Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art OR Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Authorization in Art, required;
- Also accepted: at least 12 semester units of Art course work for a board approved Letter of Consent to teach Art in lieu of a Art credential or authorization
•English Learner Authorization or equivalent.

Experience:
•Successful classroom teacher experience, desirable.
•Valid California Driver's License

  • Copy of Transcript (Bachelor's, Master's & Post-Baccalaureate Transcripts with Confer Date)
  • Credential Copy (•Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art OR Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Authorization in Art, required.)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 current letters of recommendation within 2 years)
  • Resume
