This role requires close collaboration with subject matter experts, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop technical content that meets the needs of diverse audiences, including customers, internal teams, and partners. Active Secret clearance or higher required.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation to support our products and processes. This role requires close collaboration with subject matter experts, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop technical content that meets the needs of diverse audiences, including customers, internal teams, and partners. Active Secret clearance or higher required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, product guides, installation instructions, training materials, and FAQs.
- Create and update internal process documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical specifications.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather technical information.
- Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, user-friendly content tailored to the audience's knowledge level.
- Organize and manage document libraries to ensure easy access and version control.
- Establish and maintain document standards, templates, and style guides for consistency.
- Publish and distribute documentation in various formats (PDFs, web-based content, interactive tools) as required.
- Ensure documentation is delivered on time to align with product launches, updates, or other milestones.
- Review and edit documents for accuracy, grammar, clarity, and consistency.
- Conduct usability testing of documentation to gather feedback and improve content quality.
- Identify and implement new tools, technologies, or processes to improve the efficiency and quality of documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical writing and communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years' experience in technical writing, proofing and editing (white paper, manuals, instructions, etc.)
- Experience working with government organizations.
- Previous experience as SharePoint administrator is a plus.
- Active Secret Clearance or higher required.
