Harrison Gray Searchhas partnered with a family-owned insurance brokerage seeking an Employee Benefits Producer. Our client emphasizes doing what is right for its clients and colleagues, earning their nomination as a Top Workplace in the Pittsburgh, PA area.



*Must be located in Pittsburgh, Central, PA, or Columbus, OH**



Responsibilities:

  • New Business:Expand book of business with new lines of coverage, pursue new business opportunities, and cultivate connections with prospects (working in the 50-250 lives space).
  • Relationship Management:Oversee client account renewals efficiently, and lead vendor selection, negotiation, and enhancement efforts.
  • Strategic Planning: Create and oversee strategic plans and initiatives for clients, including health and welfare strategies, health management, data analytics, and voluntary programs.
  • Continuing Education:Enhance understanding of benefit plans and compliance through meetings, education sessions, research, and formal programs. Share insights on new HR tools and solutions to improve practices


Qualifications:

Our client is interested in optimistic and self-motivated individuals searching for a dynamic career path in a professional setting:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Life, Accident, and Health License
  • CEBS, GBA, PHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP Designation-Preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of employee health and welfare plans.
  • Clear understanding of life, accident and health insurance policies and policy management.
  • Experience or exposure to health management strategic planning.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Exposure to Epic or Applied Solutions is preferred.
