REPORTS TO: Creative Services Manager

POSITIONS SUPERVISED: None

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0-5%

WORK SCHEDULE: Day Shift

SALARY RANGE: 50k - 65k (based on experience)

POSITION SUMMARY

Develops creative solutions to fit the needs of the company's internal and external clients while creating compelling and innovative designs. Manages projects from concept to completion and coordinates with external vendors to provide a positive return on investment along with timely, cost-effective, quality results that meet project goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conducts design research, develops design briefs, and provides creative direction to produce desired deliverables.
  • Creates a variety of print and digital collateral materials, including advertisements, brochures, and case studies.
  • Develops event materials (e.g., invites, banners) and three-dimensional displays.
  • Assists with web and digital design.
  • Maintains assets and electronic source files in digital asset library.
  • Coordinates projects with in-house sign shop and outside vendors (e.g., printers).
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry software and ever-evolving industry trends.
  • Creates miscellaneous marketing and communication materials, as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or any combination of education and professional experience that would meet the responsibilities listed above.
  • Minimum three years of experience in graphic design.
  • Must possess a portfolio (digital is preferred) showcasing professional and/or student work highlighting creativity and range of experience.
  • Must exhibit an artistic sensibility, technical skill, and problem-solving ability, as well as have the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment where strong communication and organizational skills are imperative.
  • Experience with photography and video production a plus.
  • Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) as well as Adobe Stock and Adobe Fonts.
  • Substantial experience working in Windows is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience working with project/workflow management systems (e.g., Wrike), digital platforms (e.g., MailChimp, WordPress, Bananatag, Eventbrite, Exclaimer), and social media platforms.
  • Desire and ability to learn and use new technology.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, specifically Adobe After Effects, is a plus.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

Primarily an office environment, with periodic visits to construction-related sites.
