Position Summary

Matthews Specialty Vehicles is seeking a full-time Sales Designer responsible for 2D and 3D Design presentations, research and development, and business development and growth, working in conjunction with the sales team to ensure proper promotion of the business and communicating with customers professionally, efficiently, and effectively. This employee will report to the Sales Director.

Roles and Responsibilities

·         Create 2D and 3D designs for customers

·         Create 3-D models in Sketchup and generate renderings using design software

·         Maintain digital library

·         Coordinate with customers regarding color selections.

·         Create presentations for curated color options.

·         Attend meetings to review job builds internally as well as with customers

·         Research and develop new design ideas

·         Maintain and update design material samples

·         Special projects as directed by management

Knowledge and Skills

·         Promote an environment of trust, communication, and productivity.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Customer Service centered approach

·         Must be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

·         Working well both independently and as a team member

·         Must know AutoCAD and be able to operate basic commands as well as plotting.

·         SolidWorks experience a plus

Education and Experience

 ·         1+ years’ experience in CAD Design

Work Hours

 ·         8:00-5:00p M-F
