Need someone who has specific industrial design expertise in wearable devices/consumer electronics.
Minimum Reqs:
BS degree in Fine Art / Science, focusing on Industrial Design, Product Design, Design Engineer, or other related fields.At least 2-year professional work experience as an industrial designer, product designer, design engineer, or similar roles with physical product design-related responsibilities.Proficiency in Solidworks, Keyshot, and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong portfolio presents industrial design projects or showcases.Strong skills in user experience research methodologies for physical products.Strong skills in prototyping tools, including 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling, etc.Familiar with the most recent marketing trends in product design, package design, and brand development.Broad technical understanding of manufacturing process, package design, graphic design, and physical prototyping in different levels of fidelity.Strong communication skills to collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers and demonstrate work with stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems, and passion for design tasks.
Good to Have:
Familiar with how to use Figma & AutoCAD.Have mechanical engineering background.Experience in the manufacturing process and materials explorations.Past medical-device / healthcare-related working experience is a plus.
