Thumbnail Designer, Carter Sharer

We're looking for a creative and experienced Graphic Designer that is familiar with the YouTube space. As a thumbnail designer you will be responsible for developing concepts, compositing and designing out those concepts. A strong understanding of photoshop and photo manipulation will help you to succeed in this position. This role is responsible for making thumbnails for our various channels. Most importantly, we need someone who is a team player and always striving to improve.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Concept new and original ideasGenerate realistic/eye catching thumbnails using photoshop and photo manipulation skillsStay up to date with current trends/best practices within the thumbnail spaceCoordinate with the thumbnail production team to make sure we are capturing all assets necessary for the creation of our thumbnailsCollaborating with other team members to generate the best designs possible. This includes idea generation, sharing assets and providing helpful feedbackQualifications:

3+ years of photoshop experienceAdvanced in photo manipulationGreat understanding of visual design principles and elementsWorking knowledge of graphic/visual trends in thumbnail designExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong attention to deadlines and schedulesFamiliar with Google Drive and DiscordFlexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverablesAbility to work collaboratively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organizationPassionate about YouTube3D experience is a bonus but not requiredAbility to create hand drawn concepts is a bonus but not required
