You will work closely with engineers, marketing, and management teams to create innovative products that make walking faster, more efficient, and more accessible. Your designs will be integral to ensuring people globally can become more active and less reliant on traditional transportation methods. Product development in the form of 2D visualizations and 3D computer models and renderings.Develop and design product prototypes with hands-on design work requiredCreate and update technical drawings/3d files for productionCreate and update CMF documentsEvaluate design concepts through user testing and iterate based on feedbackWork closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and optimized for productionCollaborate with marketing to ensure that product designs align with target customer needsStay informed on emerging design trends and techniques within the industryRequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in product design, preferably in the automotive/consumer product/footwear industryBasic understanding of core mechanical engineering principlesDesign for Manufacturing experience (Injection molding, casting, machining)Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Design, etc.)3D Modeling (Parametric CAD - Solidworks, Fusion 360, etc.)3D Rendering (Blender, Keyshot, Maya, Rhino, etc.)Sketching/Whiteboarding (efficiently explaining ideas)Ability to build low-fidelity prototypes and an understanding of production methods and prototyping processesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design conceptsStrong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentA portfolio demonstrating your design process and product design abilities is requiredBenefitsOpportunities for participation in our Employee Options programs401K retirement planExcellent medical, dental, and vision insuranceSick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions), and Paid HolidaysMassive Growth Opportunities and a long-term careerIncredible work environment
