Job DescriptionOur client is hiring an experienced senior visual designer with exceptional problem-solving skills who can effortlessly communicate complex creative concepts. You'll lead creative projects in collaboration with our Managing Director of Creative, ACD and full project teams to tackle all aspects of the design process, bringing stories and concepts to life. Your strong foundation in graphic and interactive design will be applied in a wide variety of solutions including branding and visual identity systems, motion graphics, digital marketing, product design and user experience.

Position reports to Managing Director, Creative Services.

Leads creative projects in collaboration with the Managing Director of Creative, ACD, Copywriters, Functional Architects, Strategic Planners, and Account Managers to create visual designs that align to project goals, defined functionality, overall creative direction and client business goalsCreates visually relevant, engaging stories through both static and motion design concepts for client brandsCollaborates on the creative vision for experiences and has the ability to carry that vision through the execution phases of projectsWorks with client partners, traffic manager, and senior leadership on estimating, resource planning, and project milestone developmentHas a strong understanding of the creative process and can champion work through the creative team on a day-to-day basis to ensure the project stays on track and on-budget, while reporting overall project status to the greater teamAudits a brand's visual language against other competitors, identifying trends and providing recommendations to the internal team based on findingsCollaborates with creative team and strategists to deliver impactful visual identities for client partners that are aligned with data, market insights and brand positioningMaintains strong command of visual design across typography, color, composition and imagerySupports production team in the understanding of creative visionDelivers persuasive creative presentations, clearly articulating design rationale to cross-functional internal teams as well as clients and partners for critique, feedback, and approvalRequirements

5+ years of brand and interaction/visual design experience with at least 3+ years in an integrated digital agencyProficient in critical creative applications including Adobe Creative Suite and SketchDemonstrated experience with technologies and digital solutions for websites and mobile apps, interactive campaigns, experiential solutions and videoAbility to make designs come alive through motion and interaction designSkilled communicator who is comfortable with presenting creative concepts that speak to both creative and technical audiences
