Job Summary:
The Cannabis Street Marketer will play a crucial role in increasing brand awareness, driving customer to the store, and contributing sales initiatives in local communities through tie up and bringing footfall to the store. This position involves direct interaction with the public, distribution of promotional materials, representation of our brand at various events, and building relationships to increase product sales. The ideal candidate is outgoing, knowledgeable about cannabis products, and passionate about the industry. In addition, the candidate will be involved in promoting our products to increase brand visibilities and driving traffic to the store.
Key Responsibilities:
Street Marketing Campaigns:
- Distribute promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and samples in high-traffic areas.
- Engage with potential customers to educate them about our products and services, driving demand and boosting sales.
- Identify and target key locations for street marketing activities, including high-volume retail areas and events.
- Brand proposition and product proposition to the targeted audience
Event Participation:
- Represent the company at local events, festivals, and community gatherings.
- Set up and manage promotional booths, ensuring they are inviting, well-stocked, and aligned with sales objectives.
- Provide product demonstrations, answer questions, and directly engage with customers to drive purchase intent and product awareness.
Brand Ambassador Duties:
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the company at all times, representing the brand's values.
- Collect and report customer feedback and insights to the marketing and sales teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Utilize social media platforms to promote events, share product experiences, and drive customer engagement with a focus on FMCG products.
Networking and Community Building:
- Build relationships with local businesses, retailers, and community organizations to foster partnerships and create new sales channels.
- Stay informed about local regulations and ensure all activities comply with legal standards while promoting FMCG sales strategies.
Sales Support and Strategy Execution:
- Increase the online review by making brand awareness: Boost online presence and brand recognition through targeted digital campaigns, engaging with customers on social media, and encouraging positive reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, and cannabis-related forums.
- Google reviews: Actively encourage satisfied customers to leave positive Google reviews, improving the company's online reputation and attracting more potential customers to both online and physical stores.
- Increase basket size: Implement upselling and cross-selling techniques, suggesting complementary products to customers and offering bundle discounts to encourage larger purchases.
- Competition mapping and offer pricing: Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand pricing strategies and promotional offers, ensuring that our product pricing is competitive while maintaining brand value and margin.
- Store visibility: Enhance in-store displays, signage, and product placements to improve brand visibility and attract customer attention, ensuring that products are strategically placed for maximum impact.
- Collaborate with sales teams to implement promotional and sales strategies aimed at increasing product penetration in target markets: Work closely with sales teams to design and execute localized promotional campaigns, including discounts, giveaways, and loyalty programs to increase product awareness and sales in key markets.
- Support the growth of FMCG product lines by ensuring promotional activities and marketing efforts align with retail demand: Coordinate between marketing and retail teams to ensure promotional efforts, product launches, and inventory align with market needs and consumer demand, driving growth in FMCG product categories.
- Help achieve sales targets by actively promoting the company's products and assisting in the development of sales initiatives: Actively participate in the development of sales campaigns and initiatives that align with company targets, ensuring effective execution and constant evaluation to meet or exceed sales goals.
Data Collection and Reporting:
- Track and report on the effectiveness of street marketing campaigns and their impact on sales.
- Provide regular updates to the marketing and sales teams, including feedback, customer insights, and suggestions for improving FMCG sales efforts.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous experience in street marketing, FMCG sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry and products is highly desirable, with a focus on FMCG sales dynamics.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse customer groups.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in relation to FMCG product promotion and sales tracking.
- Basic proficiency in social media platforms, marketing tools, and sales reporting systems.

Requirements:
