Delta Airport Consultants, Inc. is a professional services firm focused on providing civil engineering and facility / environmental planning to airport clients. This is an in-office position in the firm's Midlothian, Virginia office (Richmond region). The office setting is fast-paced and professional. We prepare high quality proposals in a collaborative manner and use Adobe InDesign and other Adobe products as well as Microsoft Office.
Preferred start date January 8, 2025

Job Description (The awesome work you'll get to do):
- Lead the development and submission of high-quality proposals in response to solicitations (RFQs, RFPs, etc.)
- Collaborate with leaders and technical professionals to develop strategies for each proposal, ensuring alignment with solicitation requirements
- Develop proposal response plan and coordinate resources, including internal and external stakeholders
- Write and edit proposal copy, ensuring clarity, compliance, and persuasive messaging
- Develop supplemental proposal content, including tables, infographics, exhibits and infographics
- Organize and maintain employee resumes, project profiles, and photos
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience with desktop publishing and Adobe InDesign, specifically
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications or a related field preferred
- Reliable and self-disciplined
- Professional and highly organized
- Conscientious with keen attention to detail - checks and rechecks work to ensure quality
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
- Ability to develop an understanding of our airport clients and engineering projects
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and subconsultants
