The Ads Manager platform team is a significant part of the Ads Interface pillar. Our vision is to build customer trust, ensure frictionless product experience, and enable efficiency at scale. Our Northstar metric is to improve customer satisfaction. This team focuses on building tailored solutions for different customer segments, helping advertisers manage and track campaign performance across pre-flight, mid-flight, and post-campaign full lifecycle.
As the Product Marketing Manager for TikTok Ads Manager Platform, you will use research and insights to develop product solutions, set the go-to-market strategy, and drive product adoption. You will partner cross-functionally with Product, SMB Growth, and Sales teams to identify solutions and establish the strategic direction for the future of our ads interface.
Responsibilities:
- Define go-to-market strategy and oversee execution and operation against the strategy for SMB growth products; Specify the value proposition, positioning, and messaging with the target audience.
- Set goals, success metrics and get consistent with key stakeholders. Drive product adoption and growth of products in global markets by feeding tactics such as sales enablement, automatic notifications, comm material production, webinars, client workshops, etc.
- Activate as a market strategy expert and partner closely with the sales team to deeply understand target markets and identify opportunities to make vertical-based recommendations, and scale these across the sales team.
- Design and lead alpha/beta testings with clear criteria to capture early-stage insights for product innovation and fine-tuning, ensuring the product is ready to scale.
- Lead quantitative and/or qualitative inbound initiatives such as customer persona understanding, opportunity sizing, customer feedback analysis, and competitor intel to represent the market and address market needs holistically to form product strategy, vision, and roadmap. Differentiate customer needs across KA, MM, and SMB customer segmentation and identify tailored solutions or potential opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or above in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of product marketing experience with digital ad products or in the digital advertising industry; Familiarity with competing advertising solutions
- A storyteller with track record of consolidating information into customer-oriented communications
- A fast learner and self-starter who gets to the point quickly with a good sense of judgment and original thinking
- A commercial mindset with experience building business cases from market research and analysis
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with demonstrated experience collaborating with different teams and managing multiple stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Strong data and business analysis ability, analytical mind and good data skills; comfortable with spreadsheets
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Mandarin for global cross-functional collaboration
- Customer service oriented and experience working in a client-facing capacity
