- Complex & Engaging Work: Advise on and shape advertising, marketing, and promotional campaigns to ensure compliance with evolving state, federal, and international laws. Take on challenging dispute resolution cases involving false advertising, unfair competition, and National Advertising Division disputes.
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of marketing agreements, including ad agency, influencer, celebrity endorsement, sponsorship, and online media buying agreements.
- Review ad copy for compliance with false advertising, claim substantiation, intellectual property, and right of publicity issues.
- Counsel clients on contest and sweepstakes compliance, price advertising, recurring subscriptions, and loyalty/rewards programs.
- Guide high-stakes disputes involving false advertising and consumer protection laws.
- Experience: At least 7 years of relevant experience in advertising, marketing, and promotions law, ideally gained in a large or medium law firm.
- Academic Excellence: Outstanding legal writing and communication skills and strong academic credentials.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Flexibility: While a hybrid work environment is preferred, fully remote arrangements may be considered for the right candidate. Visits to the Seattle office will be required.
- Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $295,000 to $420,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
