About the Role

We are looking for a hybrid Sr. Creative/Maker/Content Creator to join our content hub - a close-knit team of creatives working together as a collective to create fresh, bold, distinctive and breakthrough social content. This unique opportunity offers the chance to work in close collaboration with the strategic and creative teams of Ogilvy, and with some of the best social & content experts in the industry. Your mission: to conceptualize and develop unique and disruptive ideas that are Social at heart and create best-in-class content for social programs or integrated campaigns.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to create compelling visuals in a manner that's tailored to audiences, social platforms and culturally relevant moments. The creator should be able to effortlessly flex the tone of voice for various brands across different verticals. The candidate will collaborate closely with Copywriters, designers and strategists to ensure ideas are developed from concept through to execution while staying on brief. The Art Director must be confident and persuasive in presenting and selling concepts to internal teams, senior company leaders and clients. This is a position for a seasoned, driven, results oriented, and highly creative individual with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage deadlines, and produce highly effective creative.

This is a special role that will be embedded in a cohesive team with the social first talent from an array of agencies within a client team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with the team to develop, and present creative concepts for clients and new business to help build brands on Social
  • Attends and captures content at photoshoots and events
  • Works closely with copywriters and designers to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone, style, and brand guidelines
  • Art directs, shoots, edits, and produces content owned across multiple channels
  • Must be able to understand business objectives and audience demographics to be able to successfully land the messaging
  • Responsible for translating creative direction and visuals from creative briefs into engaging and effective concepts
  • Proof-reads and vets work before to ensure consistency in tone and messaging before assets are handed over to be published
  • Stays abreast with global cultural trends and industry updates, and proactively develop timely ideas for relevant
  • Ideates individually and collaboratively on innovative content ideas designed to meet long-term goals for both social media engagement and overall audience growth
  • Identifies user and community generated content that should be reposted, gain permissions, and re-edit audio tracks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant art direction and content creation experience in the social space
  • Strategic and conceptual thinking
  • Ability to lead scrappy content creation
  • Passion for learning and self-improvement
  • Proactive and a self-starter
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Adaptable and able to handle changes in briefs, priorities and edits
