Zowie is hiring: Content Strategist in New York

Zowie, New York, NY, United States, 10261

About Zowie:

At Zowie, we're all about pushing boundaries in customer experience. Our AI solutions are designed to help businesses connect faster, personalize better, and solve smarter. Top online brands (True Classic, Modivo, MediaMarkt, et al.) trust Zowie's AI agents to be on the front-line of their customer care efforts (>1.2M conversations monthly) - to give their customers rapid support, speak their brands' voice, drive customer loyalty, and boost their revenue. With just 1 out of every 1,000 website visitors talking to customer service globally, we believe that a well thought-out AI can tap into this gap and unlock tremendous value by bringing speed and empathy to customer interactions.

We're a team of over 100 very ambitious individuals on a mission to do just that.

As a team, we care about bringing the value of Zowie AI to more and more people. From the marketing perspective, a huge component of this is being able to consistently create content that truly engages our audience - pieces that people want to read, can learn from, or are excited about.

This is why we're looking for the right person to join us as a Content Strategist - think of it as an Editor-in-Chief of all Zowie's marketing content.

If you're passionate about creating impactful content - content that engages and educates - this is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of this historical AI technology shift (akin to industrial and digital revolutions in the past), to be the catalyst of how people understand and adjust to it.

Sounds exciting? Let's talk!

What you'll do:
    • Create and drive a comprehensive, industry-shaping content strategy across multiple channels and formats.
    • Be the head writer for the most critical pieces of content while dedicating the rest of your time to research, planning, and creating briefs for other creators.
    • Monitor and analyze content performance, looking at metrics and feedback to keep on improving what we create.
    • Manage the content calendar and oversee materials distribution across the go-to-market teams to engage the audience effectively.
    • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to generate ideas and deliver great results together.
Ideally, you'll bring with you:
    • 5+ years of B2B SaaS content marketing experience: Demonstrated success in creating strategies that drive measurable growth.
    • Conversion-Focused Writing: A strong track record of producing content designed to engage prospects at every stage of the funnel-awareness, consideration, and decision-and to convert readers into qualified leads.
    • Strategic Distribution & Promotion Skills: An understanding of how to effectively distribute content across multiple channels (website, email, social media, events, etc.) to maximize reach and impact.
    • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to research, analyze performance metrics, and apply insights to continuously refine content strategy for improved conversion rates and ROI.
    • Storytelling & Quality Standards: Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for what makes content truly stand out in terms of clarity, voice, and value.
    • Curiosity & Innovation: A willingness to seek out new ideas, trends, and tactics-and the courage to test and implement them.
    • Versatile Content Planning Experience: Proven ability to develop cohesive editorial calendars, and produce a variety of content types (blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, videos, etc.) aligned with funnel stages.
    • Project Management & Collaboration: Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively across teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, etc.) and manage content releases on time and on budget.

If you have a portfolio that includes your different content pieces, we'd appreciate you adding a link or files to your application. It can also be as simple as a few links to various work samples you created over time.
