Job Summary:

The Digital Creative Director is a forward-thinker who is a seasoned expert in visual storytelling and creative brand building, with proven ability to create disruptive and exciting digital assets.

In partnership with the Executive Director, Content and Copy, this role will lead the creation of effective, concept-driven digital marketing assets that are strongly rooted in marketing strategy and business needs for both bareMinerals and Laura Mercier.

The candidate must be a multi-faceted creative with experience still and motion, on-model and product. A deep knowledge of print, digital and social platforms, and proven ability to understand marketing strategy and translate it into immersive visual storytelling experiences. Equally important is the ability to initiate, execute, and enforce global brand guidelines to ensure the highest level of global brand execution across all markets and channels.

The Digital Creative Director will also play a key role in building the brands by staying informed on emerging design trends, new technologies, and creative tools that can enhance the brand's digital presence. This individual will also be expected to partner closely with the Executive Director of Content and Copy to inspire and direct the team.

Candidates for this role must be highly creative with extremely strong leadership capabilities, executional skills, and the ability to address complex creative challenges and business needs.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Craft Compelling Visual Stories: Spearhead the development and execution of innovative, 360° advertising campaigns and communication strategies that capture the essence of each brand so that brand messaging resonates across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Be the Brand Guardian: Ensure brand consistency and elevate visual storytelling across all mediums, from captivating product photography and video to engaging social media content.
  • Lead with Creative Vision: Partner with production on pre-production, production, and post-production for photoshoots and video projects, demonstrating a keen eye for detail, composition, and on-brand aesthetics.
  • Inspire a Team of Creatives: Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, providing guidance and mentorship to a team of talented individuals (Associate AD's, Art Director, Production Artists, and vendor relations with Retouch talent and Video Editors)
  • Implement Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate closely with Executive Director of Content and Copy to implement data-driven, creative concepts to achieve marketing goals that apply target audience insights, and market trends to create cohesive campaigns.
  • Partner with Content ED and cross-functional teams (marketing, product development, paid media, etc.) to visually translate briefs and business objectives into inspiring creative assets with measurable results.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously research and analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in visual communication to bring fresh, innovative ideas to life.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in creative direction, preferably within the beauty, fashion, CPG, or luxury goods industry, with a strong portfolio that showcases successes
  • A Proven Digital Creative Leader: You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing, etc.)
  • A Strategic Thinker: You can effectively translate brand values and marketing objectives into impactful visual campaigns that resonate with target audiences across multiple digital channels.
  • A Team Player: You thrive in collaborative environments and have a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve outstanding creative work.
  • A Communication Master: You can articulate complex creative ideas clearly and persuasively, building consensus and buy-in from stakeholders at all levels, including Marketing, Paid Media, Consumer Engagement, Packaging, and In-Store Design.
  • A Trendsetter: You have your finger on the pulse of visual communication trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, always seeking innovative ways to elevate brands.
  • An Expert Technician: You have substantial knowledge of pre-production, production, post production, retouching and proofing. You are proficient in InDesgin, PhotoShop, Illustrator and Figma.

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when deter-mining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $157,000-$225,000. Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
