Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Creative Designer to join a growing team. You'll be responsible for producing a range of communications that adhere to the overarching brand strategy and creative vision. This is an opportunity to contribute to design work that strives to achieve excellence across digital and print advertising, social media visuals, web user experience design, and other communication platforms, effectively reaching diverse target demographics. The role thrives in a dynamic, collaborative studio environment where quick iteration and testing are key to establishing effective creative standards. This role may also involve overseeing and guiding the work of interns.
LOGISTICS
- Contract to hire (2-3 months contract to convert to a permanent role)
- Hybrid role (must be able to travel onsite 5 days / week during contract and will shift to 3 days a week once converted)
- $65,000 - 80,000 depending on experience + highly competitive benefits package!!
- Target start date: Nov/Dec 2024
- Master brand standards and strategy to create impactful digital and print materials, including ads, signage, social media graphics, emails, and multi-page documents (fan guides, reports).
- Develop reusable templates and tools for team use, ensuring consistent quality in all design outputs.
- Design a variety of deliverables with strong experience in layout, photography, retouching, sizing, and color selection.
- You’ll be designing for social media, signage, print advertising, digital advertising, marketing collateral, reports, guides, animation, and more.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on design requests, offering input, guidance, and creative techniques to enhance outcomes.
- Oversee production processes, ensuring high-quality typesetting, printing, and adherence to brand standards.
- Utilize design and animation software (Adobe Creative Cloud) and stay updated on technology to enhance creative work; mentor team members as needed.
- Coordinate project tracking and communication using collaboration tools, maintaining flexibility in response to shifting priorities.
- Support web page creation and brand asset management.
- Portfolio Required: Samples should showcase skills in print design, digital design, and photography. UX design preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred coupled with 5+ years of relevant design and creative experience
- Must have experience designing for large or well-known brands and understand how to design with brand standards and style guides.
- Experience designing materials across digital ads, social media, email, animation, mobile-first, media, and print.
- Must have worked in fast-paced environments with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, tight deadlines at times, and collaborate with a creative team.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
