DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The individual occupying this role is responsible for developing plans, detailed drawings, and sections of diverse complexity and extent related to the design and execution of abandoned mine reclamation initiatives, as well as preparing reports and managing right-of-way acquisitions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $50,836.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience as a Drafter; or
  • Two years of experience as an Environmental Engineering Technician, which includes a minimum of one year of engineering, architectural or survey drafting work, including or supplemented by six months of CADD experience or training; or
  • Two years of experience in engineering, architectural or survey drafting work, including or supplemented by six months of CADD experience or training, and an Associate's Degree in the field of engineering technology or Computer Aided Drafting and Design; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and/or training, including or supplemented by six months of CADD experience or training.
Other Requirements:
