Pay rate: $115-$123/hr. DOE
Responsibilities:
- As a Motion Designer + Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for crafting beautiful stories within the Brand Creative Team at Client. We pride ourselves in finding simplicity, structure and meaning in a complex and ever-evolving product ecosystem. On a day to day basis, you’ll collaborate with an extraordinary team launching initiatives that impact every facet of our organization. We’re looking for someone who can dig into the work on day one, energize the team with different points of view on motion design and video editing solutions, and then bring those solutions to life.
- Work through complex storytelling problems to create beautiful and thoughtful work.
- Support senior designers and directors in daily motion design work, including but not limited to: storyboards and animatics, iterating on motion design solutions, identifying creative partners, and reviewing assets for quality control.
- Demonstrate expertise in motion design, composition, layout, creative thinking, and strategy
- Explore, propose and execute motion design solutions for a variety of problems that may take the form of social ads, event video, in-product how-tos, or branding for content etc.
- Generate a high volume of iterations toward solutions in a quick time frame
- Seeks feedback and coordinates/aligns one’s work with others’ activities
- Displays a high level of craft and conceptual thinking
- Contribute in art directing creative partners
- Remain curious, with an eye on culture and society
- Remains focused and inquisitive in the face of ambiguity and change.
Required Skills:
- We're looking for someone who's proficient with both video editing and motion design / 2D animation.
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to address and prioritize multiple projects at once.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Demonstrable experience in concepting and delivering strong storytelling through motion design and video editing
- Demonstrable experience in an iterative, co-creative motion design and video editing process
- Hands-on creation of design assets, storyboards, animatics, and final videos.
- Comfort with ambiguity and working quickly
