Location Description:Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities:This position is hybrid- in the office 3 days a week in Lakeville, MN
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Partners with our brands, sales teams and agency to develop a comprehensive promotional strategy with focus on executional excellence and profitable ROI.
Planning:
- Understand the brand and sales teams business objectives and make recommendation on our promotional and in store marketing (when applicable) budgets
- Brief agency on key objectives and partner with them to establish promotional plan focused on digital offers.
- Partner with PCB Procurement and Legal to identify any risks and opportunities
- Build out a flow of when promotions and any instore signage should be in market that compliments trade events and key moments for the brand.
- Align with media team on the promotion calendar and collaborate to find opportunities to plus up media support around promotions at key retailers.
Execution:
- Provide all relevant offer details to agency to get programs executed including item list and any exclusions.
- Partner with creative studio to get any creative assets needed
- Track weekly pacing to ensure we are on track
- Reconcile final redemption costs and manage to agreed upon budgets; flag any under or over pacing and how we will adjust plans to stay on budget
Communication:
- Keep cross functional partners up to date on programming details and changes (media, sales, brand partners)
- Publish monthly flow and program highlights to field sales teams to keep everyone aware of upcoming activations
- Send recaps to cross-functional partners and share any learnings being applied to future programs
Measurement:
- Develop a test and learn plan for promotions to understand what partners, offers and audiences drive the best returns
- Monitor the programs weekly and make any optimizations throughout
- Partner with finance to evaluate the incremental lift on promotion programs
Education:
Bachelors Degree Required; Or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience
- 1+ year work experience with coupon or promotional programs required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel skillset strongly preferred, PowerPoint experience putting data and graphs into presentation ready formats
- 1-2 years of business experience required; Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience strongly preferred
