Medical Illustrator/Graphic Designer

About our Team
Our team produces published textbooks as part of our products and Front List. Our work and publishing dates are ongoing year-round, producing and supporting promotional materials and final products. We support several titles and in addition to our books and publishing material, we assist the production of video, animation, and illustrations to our digital content.
About the Role
We are looking for a medical illustrator with working experience as a graphic designer. This is an exciting opportunity to help us continue to build our in-house production team. We collaborate on a variety of products for medical professionals, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and patients. This includes designing digital, print, and animations for a wide variety of products used around the world.
Responsibilities
Design and branding for print titles for medical publishing company.
Design and layout graphics and typography for print and digital products.
Generate the marketing materials for trade shows. This includes brochures, signage, booth graphics and ads.
Create medical illustrations and 2D animations for a variety of products.
Collaboration across medical, editing, illustration, and animation teams to develop final product
Requirements
Have a degree from an accredited medical illustration program.
Display proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat.
Display proficiency in Adobe Premier and After Effects is a bonus.
Have design skills in concept development, layout, typography and illustration
Showcase commitment to professionalism, detail and high-quality creative solutions.
Have exceptional comprehension, concept and execution skills.
Experience with and consistent display of communication within all levels of department and company personnel.
Have in-depth hands-on understanding of printing and production processes including: 4-color+ process, paper and pre-press is valued.
