About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will support the implementation of national strategic marketing initiatives and help educate franchises in implementing local/regional strategies that will help drive lead generation, including PPC, SEO, social media, media and PR, and community involvement initiatives.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing strategies, tactics & programs in the field. They will provide feedback and collaborate with their Marketing Director and other team members to influence the evolution of programs, systems & processes. Must have working knowledge of both digital and traditional marketing tactics.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
  • Assist / Educate franchisees on marketing programs and other activities to help drive lead generation.
  • Have firsthand knowledge of any marketing issues franchises are experiencing - investigate and provide solutions.
  • Train Franchisees on new and existing marketing programs, and serve as their first point of contact for marketing questions and requests.
  • Assist in the development of new marketing tools, resources, and programs.
  • Attend brand meetings and present marketing updates.
  • Meet regularly with the marketing director to provide status on execution of the marketing plan.
  • Understand all corporate and local area marketing programs to communicate and gain adoption and enthusiasm of programs to franchisees.
  • Identify new local opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Proactively share best practices and successes with brand and broader marketing team.
  • Provide brand-specific insights and key achievements to marketing leadership.
  • Use tracking systems and data analysis to continually improve the organization's marketing efforts.
  • Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Work with the other marketing teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors.
  • Provide Franchisee education and support via webinars and other group learning opportunities.
  • Attend brand meetings and yearly conventions.
Qualifications:
  • Highly proactive self-starter who can work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, at all levels, and maintain great relationships.
  • Experienced working with/managing vendor partners.
  • Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy.
  • Data driven, comfortable making sense of metrics.
  • Team player and collaborative.
  • Comfortable in a growing "scrappy" small team environment, with an eagerness to think outside the box.
  • Customer service orientated to support a network of 100+ franchise locations across the U.S.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, see the big picture and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills and able to work well cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to take ownership and work independently.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing.
  • Franchisor experience a plus.
