Essential Functions and Responsibilities

+ Marketing Campaigns & Support

+ Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and email marketing.

+ Conduct market research to support the credit union's goals and strategic objectives .

+ Support the Marketing team in research and monitoring trends in relation to campaign or content development.

+ Work with management to monitor and report on media buys and advertising.

+ Provide support in planning and coordinating credit union-sponsored events and community engagement activities.

Branch Liaison

+ + Serve as the primary point of contact for branch management on monthly and ongoing marketing campaigns.

+ Conduct branch marketing audits to ensure brand consistency across all locations.

+ Collaborate with branch management to address their marketing needs.

+ Coordinate requests for marketing collateral and support the Marketing team.

+ Create and manage reports for branch-focused marketing efforts, making recommendations for performance improvement based on data.

Public Relations & External Communications

+ Maintain effective communication with members, marketing professionals, and external business contacts.

+ Ensure requests and questions from members and external contacts are addressed promptly and courteously.

+ Protect and enhance the credit union's professional reputation.

+ Coordinate with external vendors for printing, signage, and supplies as needed.

+ Internal Collaboration

+ Provide support to internal teams as needed.

+ Keep management informed of marketing activities and any significant concerns.

+ Complete required reports, records, and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner .

+ Attend internal meetings and stay up to date on credit union products, services, and financial industry trends.

Additional Responsibilities

+ Stay informed of developments in the marketing industry and trends impacting credit union operations.

+ Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area.

+ Complete special projects as assigned by management.

Performance Expectations

+ Effectively coordinate marketing functions to support the organization's goals.

+ Provide appropriate levels of support to Marketing staff and branches.

+ Ensure branch marketing programs are effective and regularly reviewed.

+ Proactively identify and meet the service and product needs of current and prospective members.

+ Foster strong working relationships with internal teams and provide assistance and training as needed.

+ Maintain professional and effective public relations.

+ Keep management well-informed of activities and potential challenges, ensuring reports are accurate and submitted on time.

+ Meet deadlines and communicate proactively about any delays.

Qualifications

Education/Certification

+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

+ Credit union experience is preferred.

Required Knowledge

+ Familiarity with credit union products and services.

+ Basic understanding of sales and promotional techniques.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience

+ At least one year of experience in marketing, public relations, or advertising, or equivalent credit union experience.

Skills/Abilities

+ S trong interpersonal and public relations skills.

+ Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

+ Solid written and verbal communication skills.

+ Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.

+ Experience with marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and HubSpot is a plus.
