Overview:
It is the responsibility of the Marketing Manager to prepare and execute special events and promotions, including budgets, for Casino Marketing, Preparation and execution of an annual marketing calendar and invite project sheet. Manage marketing staff, and office functions. Develop a strong customer base and generate revenue for the casino. Oversees the daily operations of Special Events & Promotions and Advertising.
Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and managing the Marketing Team.
- Plan and execute all special events and promotions
- Assist in the creation of proformas, proposals, and strategies for all marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, special events, promotions, and players club, as well as Casino Marketing, Database/Direct Marketing, and Entertainment initiatives
- Create and update SOPs for all Special Events & Promotions.
- Coordinate reporting of program results with Planning & Analysis team and Internal Audit
- Coordinate the execution of events and promotions with involved departments
- Maintain effective use of resources, scheduling, staff levels, expense purchases, capital purchases, etc.
- Act as a liaison with a variety of vendors
- Assist in annual budget preparation as well as monthly financial reporting
- Ensure all internal and external information relating to promotions, special events, and players club is accurate
- Effectively plan, organizes and prioritizes a heavy workload with competing priorities
- Communicate with management in order to fulfill and address any issues and/or needs requested by guests or employees
- Responds to guest issues and concerns via email, telephone, and web
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- 4 year BA/BS Degree required or three (3) years of promotion and event experience in the casino industry.
- Minimum age requirement is 21
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.

Posted Salary Range:
