We are seeking an Infotainment Radio Reception Test Engineer to be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing test plans for various Radio systems. Activities will focus on all phases of In Vehicle Radio system development validation including Radio Tuner Receptions of FM/AM/SXM, Analog & HD Radio, DTS AutoStage, Antenna, and System Integration. Located in Superior Township, MI just East of Ann Arbor.
- Will be tasked with improving and developing, defining, and implementing System Level validation of hardware and software test plan of test cases, test processes, methods, and documentation for Radio systems
- Identify tools needed for successful development such as hardware/software development tools and test equipment including alternatives to manual testing for Infotainment Radio systems
- Complete full testing of the In Vehicle Radio tuner system, Radio Reception of FM/AM/SXM for weak & strong reception areas of analog and HD radio, Antenna, DTS AutoStage and Radio features for all Vehicle Platforms before Start of Production (SOP)
- Execute both in-vehicle and bench validation for functionality and specification compliance
- Thoroughly test systems to identify issues and continuously strive to improve the system
- Ensure all issues are addressed by supplier through review of root cause, corrective action, and updated validation result
- Communicate effectively with the supply base to answer questions pertaining to requirements, specifications, performance data and defect analysis.
- Identify new features for newly released platforms and understand the implementation of all new specifications
- Learn all internal systems as part of the job scope & Collaborate with other module owners to ensure appropriate interfaces and specification improvements.
- Complete test reports for all testing activities and follow the specified format
- Preparation and presentation of technical reports, e.g. error status, development status, and plan, etc.
- Must have ability to independently learn new concepts quickly to continuously meet new demands and new projects and complete testing with integrity
- Experience and knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics is preferred (e.g. filters, amplifiers, logic circuits, converters, inverters).
- Experience in technical writing such as requirements, specifications, results reports, etc.
- Knowledge of new technologies including wireless networks along with Radio Tuner system, Radio Frequency
- Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally (less than 10%)
Required
- Bachelor's degree in any related Technical Field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical or related).
- Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Driving Record

Preferred
- (1 ~ 5) one to five years' experience in Radio Reception & Radio System validation for In vehicle Infotainment system
- Experience of Radio signal Simulation tool & recording
