Have ample experience and be able to recommend breakthrough techniques that improve keyword ranking, organic traffic, and conversions for websites in competitive marketsEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide thought leadership regarding SEO initiatives to increase education and consideration for our consumer brands, with a goal of increasing SEO traffic to key destinations and website actionsEnsure that SEO and Content Marketing initiatives are driving impact through stated outcomes with clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); responsible for attaining and reporting on performance relative to those KPIsIdentify and implement on-page optimizations (title tag, description, H1, H2, keyword density, internal links, page size, XHTML compliance, schemas) to maximize SEO value and user engagementStrategize planning of new content articles, infographics, and videos that rank for popular nonbrand keywordsConduct keyword research, topic selection, and deliver content briefs to the content teamBuild and maintain SEO-focused content guidelines for website templates/sectionsManage periodic content revision, identify opportunities for refresh, re-optimization, content retirement, and clean-upCollaborate with the Content Team to refine and improve content value with a data-first approachIdentify new search opportunities and incorporate them into the content strategyAnalyze and report on content performance, providing actionable insights to improve future content strategy and executionProvide strategic SEO planning and recommendations for new websites or website refresh projectsStay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and algorithm updates that impact search engine rankings and share them with the broader organization and key stakeholdersQualifications and Education Requirements2+ years of SEO experience executing large-scale optimization programs2+ years managing content production and planning, focused on engaging content that ranks wellStrong understanding of structured data and tactics that optimize content readability for search enginesAdvanced experience using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other related SEO toolsProven track record implementing the latest and best SEO practices.
