**The work:**

Seeking an experienced Technical Writer to work in a constantly evolving environment where new technologies are used frequently and learning never stops. The selected candidate will ensure documents accurately communicate and address current practices, issues, and challenges experienced by the end user of the capability that is the subject of any given assignment. Key responsibilities:

+ Research subject matter as required to support document development.

+ Research contact, including industry, academia, and other commands, as necessary and appropriate.

+ Develop, edit, maintain and incorporate comments into assigned clients documents, and facilitate and record proceedings of meetings related to the assigned documents, including producing briefs, presentations, meeting summaries, and other support documents related to assigned documents.

+ Support and provide capability production document (CPD) and capability development document (CDD) in support of material acquisition process to validate and resource materiel solutions.

+ Draft capabilities-based assessments with sufficient depth and breadth to develop coherent and well-supported recommendations for later use in the validation process of the identified capability requirements and associated capability gaps to support possible follow-on actions.

+ Observe and adhere to the proper protocols and requirements for processing, handling, and storing classified materials.

**Here's what you need:**

+ Bachelors Degree

+ Five (5) years of technical writing experience in a networking environment

+ Experience in data analysis

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Background and experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

**Preferred:**

+ 508/Accessibility experience and demonstrability

+ Experience with Scaled Agile DevSecOps methods and tools

+ Certifications in Agile, Scrum, ITIL 4, DevSecOps

+ Ability to commit style rules and best practices to memory

+ Ability to understand complex content related to logic and reasoning

+ Editing background

+ Excellent critical thinking skills

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of **California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia** . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
