Position Summary
The Office of Finance and Administration is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Publishing Intern to assist in creating, editing, and managing digital content published to the Commonwealth's mass.gov website. This role offers hands-on experience in content management, design, and web development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Position Summary
The Office of Finance and Administration is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Publishing Intern to assist in creating, editing, and managing digital content published to the Commonwealth's mass.gov website. This role offers hands-on experience in content management, design, and web development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities
- Format, upload and publish content, documents, images, and multimedia using mass.gov Drupal Content Management System (CMS).
- Support the Governor's Executive Order # 614 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act by reviewing and editing documents published to our website to advance digital accessibility and equity within the Commonwealth.
- Utilize Microsoft and Adobe Acrobat tools and resources to perform an audit of published documents. They will collaborate with web publishers and content owners to make necessary document edits to comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards .
- This position will be hybrid, sharing time between in-office and remote work
- Effective verbal/written communication skills
- Effective collaboration with web publishers, content authors and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide status updates, and contribute to discussions that shape the direction of projects.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Required Software applications: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat Pro,
