Position Overview:

The Associate Manager of Planning will support the execution of strategies for one of MGA Entertainment's key brands. This role focuses on assisting with product line activities, conducting market analysis, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to contribute to the brand's success. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in brand management, planning, or related roles, preferably in consumer goods or the toy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Brand Support • Assist in the development of product lifecycle plans, including SKU optimization and transitions. • Conduct market research and provide insights on competitive trends. • Support the execution of brand strategies under the guidance of senior team members.

Product and Line Management • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure the timely delivery of products. • Support the management of the product portfolio to maintain a balanced mix of categories and price points. • Assist with licensing coordination to identify product enhancement opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with Sales and Retail teams to gather feedback and assist with product presentations. • Partner with Operations and Inventory teams to track inventory and supply chain needs. • Coordinate with Media, PR, and Creative teams to align marketing activities with product strategies.

Budget and Forecasting • Support budgeting and forecasting activities for assigned projects. • Monitor performance metrics and provide data to inform adjustments to plans.

Qualifications:

Education: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience: • 2+ years of experience in brand management, planning, or similar roles, preferably in consumer goods or toys. • Exposure to product development or cross-functional collaboration is a plus.

Skills: • Strong analytical and organizational skills. • Basic project management experience. • Effective communication and teamwork abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with market research tools.

Salary:

$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 /year
