As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Principals win work. With your keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills, you'll help maintain the marketing database (Unanet CRM by Cosential), support social media content creation, and contribute to the development of engaging marketing materials. - This is a non-exempt position. All overtime hours are paid at a time-and-a-half hourly rate.
Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $29 to 31.50 per hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher is required
- Marketing, business, communications, graphic design and architecture degrees are preferred
- Highly Competent with the Microsoft Office Suite is required (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote)
- Highly Competent with PDF management and organization
- Competent with Microsoft Teams 365 and SharePoint
- Good written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively
- Good grammar skills, and fluency in English is required
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Adapt quickly, identify and resolve problems
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- A passion for continuous improvement
- Good interpersonal, planning, documentation and organization skills
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a marketer is preferred
- Experience in the AEC industry is preferred
Primary Responsibilities
- The Marketing Assistant is part of the Marketing team reporting to the Director of Marketing
- The Marketing Assistant will perform tasks alongside other members of the Marketing team in order to serve the business needs of the office
- Under direction of the Marketing Director:
- Assist with the timely processing of contracts and proposals
- Assist in preparing qualifications packages by gathering, editing and delivering information requested by clients
- Assist in the development of marketing collateral: plan and organize promotional brochures, presentations, recruiting material, advertisements, and others as needed
- Back up point of contact for clients for project pursuits
- Assist in the assembly of prime proposals
- Attend pre-qualification meetings as needed
- Assist in assembling awards submissions
- Assist in social media content creation
- Maintain the marketing database (Unanet CRM by Cosential)
- Other miscellaneous Marketing tasks as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Duties require in-person attendance, Monday through Friday, during our business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM at our office in Irvine for a training period.
- After a successful training period, this role will work in our Irvine office 4 days per week, 8 hours per day, Monday through Thursday; with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
- All duties are performed in a typical office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
- Duties require the ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day.
- May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs.
